S&L Personnel offer both temporary and permanent recruitment services, specialising within the Industrial, Commercial, Hospitality, Events and Exhibition sectors.
S&L Personnel are looking for experienced Sewing Machinist for our established client based in Leicester (LE5).
The role requires the ideal candidate to have high end accuracy as well as experience on lockstitch and bar tacking on
high end products. Candidates will need to be able to work on their own initiative as well as working in a team.
Pay rate: £9.50
Hours of work:
08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday.
08:00 – 14:00 Friday.
40 hours paid per week.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Working on sewing machines
- Completing orders in a timely manner
- Assisting and helping with other duties when needed within the team
- Adhering to all health & safety while working in a machine warehouse.
Experience and qualities required:
- A high standard/ quality of work must be produced at all times
- Candidate must have excellent timekeeping at all times to enable orders to be completed on time.
- Experience is needed but some training will be given by the client
- Person will need to follow precise instructions and work on own initiative
This position is an on-going temporary role which could lead to a permanent role for the right person.
