Major Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a recruitment & HR administrator for a professional organisation in the Melton Mowbray area of Leicestershire.
You will assist with the administration of all aspects of recruitment and HR. Also promoting it as a great place to work, locally, nationally and even internationally, to attract the best people. Moreover, as the first point of contact you will contribute to proving an excellent candidate experience.
Recruitment & HR Administrator – Duties
- Liaising closely with Managers in respect of vacancies across our one site
- Secondly, assisting with drafting job description and person specifications
- Thirdly, creating inspiring and innovative job adverts
- Advertising positions both internally and externally
- Optimising all recruitment related material on our website
- Proactively investigate new recruitment methods to successfully reach out to new candidates
- Regularly use the company’s social media platforms to attract candidates and create an ongoing interest
- Creating interesting blogs and developing relationships with other bloggers within our industry
- Managing all adverts and applications through our Applicant Tracking System
- Assisting with the screening of candidates, responding to them in a timely manner
- Sending regular ‘vacancy alert’ emails, and expanding our existing database of recipients
- Arranging and attending job fairs, exhibitions and competition events
- Assisting with analysing return on investment for all advertising and social media activity
- Assisting with the preparation of offer letters and contracts
- Supporting the development of the onboarding process for new employees
- Finally, providing administrative support with all aspects of HR
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have previous recruitment experience and will bring a positive energy to the team. Also, you’ll need to be organised, creative, with an inquisitive mind and a sharp eye for detail. In addition, fantastic written and verbal communication skills are essential. Furthermore, you must have strong IT skills including MS Office, Excel and Power Point, as well as good social media skills. Finally, you should be ready to bring fresh ideas to the table. As well as this, you will have the experience and knowledge to be able to deliver them.
It’s fast-paced, there’s plenty to do and you’ll always be busy. But, you’ll be surrounded by friendly, like-minded colleagues who will support and help you make the most of this exciting new role.
Hours of Work:
Working 39 hours per week over 5 days a week, this role will be predominately Mon-Fri (9:00am-5:30pm). Also, the occasional need to work at the weekend may arise.
Salary:
Up to £21,000 per annum, dependant on experience. Also, a generous benefits package including:
