Postal Delivery Worker – Job Details

– Postal delivery worker

As a worker in this role you will work:
– Full time
– Monday to Saturday or option of midweek rest and working Sundays
– Sunday work also available
For the first 12 weeks in this position you will be paid:
– Monday to Friday = £9.41 per hour
– Saturday = £10.41 per hour
– Sunday = £18.58 Per hour
After completing 12 weeks your pay will increase to:
– Monday to Friday = £11.87 per hour
– Saturday = £12.73 per hour
– Sunday = £18.58 per hour
As a Postal Delivery Worker your duties will include:
– You will be responsible for delivering letters & parcels quickly & efficiently.
– Walking on a dedicated route, occasional driving
– Maintaining high integrity standards & demonstrating friendly customer service.
– Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.
To succeed in the role, you will:
– Have a Full UK Driving licence, with no more than six points.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– Be upbeat & self-motivated.
– Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
– Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
– Excellent organisational skills.
– Be resilient & flexibility.
