Based in Leicester (LE4), could you be a general operative?
The candidate will be filling granite castings with body filler and then smoothing off surfaces with electric sanders and power tools. You will need to be physically fit and have experience with using power tools such as Grinders, Drills & Sanders.
The client is looking for someone to start immediately as order books are full. Overtime is also available and the job may be permanent for the ideal candidate.
Pay rate:
£9.50 per hour.
Working Hours:
7.30am – 3.45pm Monday to Thursday.
7.30am – 2.30pm Friday
Daily Tasks:
- Mixing body filler
- Applying filler to surfaces
- Sanding surfaces down with the use of power tools
- Creating moulds to specific customer requirements
Qualities required from Candidate:
- Physically fit as tasks can be demanding at times
- Attention to detail when finishing products to a high standard
- Work well in a team to complete orders on time
- Candidate needs to be open to learning all parts of the process if required to
- Excellent timekeeper and a good attitude to work is essential
