Education Auditor
An exciting opportunity has opened up on our Leicester-based Education Compliance Team for an Auditor. Reporting to the Education Audit Team Leader, you will be responsible for auditing and authorising candidates. These are for education roles. The team is one that is hard working, results driven, self-motivated and flexible. This is to meet the changing needs of the business.
Ensuring that there is a smooth, fast flow of authorised candidates into the business is an important part of this role and you will support the wider Education business in this endeavour whilst ensuring Hays meets its legal obligations and operational requirements. You will be targeted on the number of files you check so it is important you work effectively, efficiently and flexibly to meet the needs of the business. You will become an expert on all things relating to education audit and will need to keep up with any changes to legislation, as well as updates from the Department for Education, the Teaching Regulation Agency and the Education Workforce Council (Wales). It is a role where you’ll need to be confident communicating with all levels within the business and be willing to re-prioritise your own tasks at short notice to meet the needs of the business.
What we expect
The right person for this role will be someone who can convey complex information easily. Also, someone who has a good attention to detail and has good knowledge of Hays systems. You will also need to be able to cope with pressure. Additionally, you should be able to respond to tight deadlines during the periods of peak demand. You will need a good understanding of the rules that you are applying together. You also need the ability to apply them sensibly and explain them concisely.
