Ecommerce Digital Merchandiser
£25,000 (+10% bonus)

What would you do?
 
You would be responsible for improving the overall website experience for consumers by the creation of new products, improvement of base content and the continued maintenance and upkeep of the company’s digital footprint. Also, you would work within a team and report to the Senior Digital Merchandiser. In addition, you would liaise with other departments consistently within a test and learn environment enabling you to influence successful change and learn from unsuccessful change.

Ecommerce Digital Merchandiser – Daily duties:

  • Firstly, be responsible for ensuring that product templates are created and loaded.
  • Liaise with Supplier Teams and Suppliers to ensure that content is supplied in line with requirements – Support creation of content plans
  • Working within defined guidelines, make content improvement.
  • Optimise core product content based on customer behaviour.
  • Identify and create / source new types of digital merchandising content that will drive customer engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to drive order value and sales through building product relationships.
  • Suggest and implement changes based on report.
  • Test and measure all changes identifying successes and as importantly, any negative impacts

Candidate Requirements:

  • Firstly, demonstrable knowledge with a minimum 1 year of experience of creating digital product content
  • Secondly, experience of using Google Analytics (or similar software) to monitor activity online
  • Thirdly, passion for all things digital along with the drive to make a difference to customers digitally
  • Also, knowledge and experience of SEO’s
  • Additionally, a personable and warm approach within the workplace
  • Finally, understanding of content requirements and digital merchandising
