Assistant Finance Analyst (Part Qualified)

£25,000 – £30,000 p/a (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for an East Midlands based client. Furthermore, they are currently on the lookout for a part-qualified Assistant Finance Analyst on a permanent basis.

The Assistant Finance Analyst will support the Finance Manager in providing a comprehensive accounting service to the staff and management of the Timber Frame region for said business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Employee will have some manufacturing and costing experience gained in a similar role
• Also, you will be developing the ability to analyse, model and interpret data and to self-manage your workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates will have a good level of mathematical ability, problem-solving skills, and a methodical and logical approach to providing an accounting service for the region
• In addition, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proficient understanding of IT packages and software
• Candidates will have excellent accuracy and attention to detail across each aspect of your work
• Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form and maintain working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across the wider business especially with your local management teams

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Candidates will be studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA)
• Moreover, you will have some finance experience in the manufacturing industry
• You may have working experience of Anaplan and Microsoft Dynamics 365. This is not essential but is highly advantageous for the role
