The Little Theatre is a predominantly voluntary run organization that has established itself as home of the Leicester Drama Society (LDS), having run for nearly a hundred years in the heart of Leicester’s city centre. Proudly boasting patrons such as Sir Anthony Hopkins, Richard Cadell and Sooty and Gervase Phinn – and with the former Honorary Life President being the Late Lord Richard Attenborough (who started his acting career at The Little Theatre) – the society produces twelve main house shows each year, and a consistently popular pantomime, performed in the 350-seat auditorium to an annual average 25,000 plus audience members.
